Natasha Richardson on the brink
 Natasha Richardson with Vanessa Redgrave - photo by Stuart Ramson, AP Sad news after Natasha Richardson was moved today from hospital in Canada back to the States following her ski-ing accident on Monday. The 45 year old daughter of Vanessa Redgrave (pictured left) was in Canada to accompany husband Liam Neeson, who is currently filming in Montreal. Her fall during a private ski lesson at the exclusive Mont Tremblant resort appeared to be minor at first, but later headache symptoms appeared and she went for medical treatment. It is possible that Ms Richardson suffered an injury known as "talk and die", where the victim carries on at first as if they are unhurt. But all the while, blood is building up between the skull and the brain to form a huge blood clot. The delay caused by their initial appearance of wellbeing means the clot is too advanced for treatment when they receive medical attention. Labels: natasha richardson |
